Terms of Service
Short, readable, and written to be understood. The proposal you sign for a build always takes precedence for that engagement.
Who we are
Rex Automaton builds custom automation and AI systems for businesses. We operate from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Using this website or booking a call with us means you accept these terms.
The free Automation Game Plan call
The call is free, carries no obligation, and the plan we give you is yours to keep whether or not you hire us. It is a scoping conversation, not a binding quote; formal pricing and scope are confirmed in a written proposal.
Paid engagements
Every build is governed by its written proposal, which sets the scope, the flat price, the timeline, and what success looks like. The proposal is the contract; if it conflicts with these terms, the proposal wins.
Our pays-for-itself guarantee is exactly what the proposal says it is: if the agreed automation does not pay for itself in the stated window, the agreed remedy applies. The guarantee covers what is written, not assumptions beyond it.
Your responsibilities
You confirm you have the right to give us access to the systems, data, and accounts involved in a build, and that your use of the automations we deliver complies with the laws that apply to your business, including anti-spam and privacy rules in your jurisdiction.
Third-party services
Automations typically run on third-party platforms (email providers, CRMs, telephony, AI models). We choose and configure them carefully, but we do not control their pricing, uptime, or policy changes, and we are not liable for their failures.
Intellectual property
Once a project is paid in full, the delivered system, its configuration, and its documentation are yours. We keep the right to reuse general know-how, patterns, and tooling that are not specific to your business.
Website content, including articles and case studies, belongs to us. Quote it with attribution; do not republish it wholesale.
No professional advice
Content on this site, including the blog and ROI calculator, is general information, not legal, financial, or accounting advice. Numbers shown in case studies are real results for specific clients and are not a promise of identical results for you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the website or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the work the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of British Columbia.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the current version always lives on this page with an updated date. Last updated June 5, 2026. Questions: jacky@rexautomaton.com.
